Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, the Shipping/Receiving Operator is assigned to standardized work of routine nature. Work generally involves taking product from both assembly departments, staging the product, and loading it onto trucks for delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain a busy loading dock in good order, including all necessary labels, equipment, materials and supplies.
- Follow the Standard Work Sequence exactly as it is written. In addition, the employee should know the proper channels for suggesting changes to Standard Work.
- Transport goods in the department truck as needed.
- Be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise kept in warehouses.
- Compare, inspect, and monitor production quality to approved standards and accept, reject, or question in accord with established standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of component storage locations.
- Know and distinguish between the different work surfaces and perform the proper quality checks on them.
- Perform tasks in accordance with standard levels of performance required to meet rates established for specific parts being worked.
- Perform routine cleaning chores to maintain cleanliness of the work station and area per 5S requirements.

- Starting Pay:
General Labor starts $16.00- $1.00/hour shift premium on 2nd shift
