Your mission

Transform steel plate into precise components using CNC burning systems—safely, efficiently, and with pride in every cut.

Key outcomes

Accurate flame cutting via oxy‑fuel on plate from 1 3/8” to 10”.Clean, consistent plasma cuts on plate from 1/8” to 1 1/4”.Programs and setups that maximize material yield without compromising quality.

Parts that meet spec first time—validated with tape measure and calipers.

Core responsibilities

Interpret work orders and prepare machines accordingly.

Verify and track material grades using the color-coding system.

Troubleshoot cut quality; make basic machine adjustments as needed.

Operate forklifts and overhead cranes for safe material movement.

Complete pre-/post-shift preventive maintenance and maintain the cutting surface.

Follow safety protocols and direction from Supervisors and Shift Leads.

Contribute to other tasks that keep production flowing.

What you need to succeed

High school diploma or GED; engineering-related certification a plus.

Experience with plasma, laser, or oxy cutting equipment.
1–3 years operating basic CNC machinery.

Mechanical aptitude, reliable workmanship, and precise tape‑measure skills.

Strong communication, punctuality, and the ability to work overtime—including on short notice.

Work setting

Manufacturing environment with regular exposure to noise, chemicals, and processing materials. Expect long periods of standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
