Manufacturing Engineer | Byron Center, MI
Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Byron Center seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement new production methods, equipment, and tooling.
- Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process improvement or manufacturing engineering role.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for fixture design and layout optimization.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
