One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations at their facility in Dundee, MI location.
Pay Rate: $42/hr - $44/hr
Shift: Continental
Responsibilities- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Inspect machinery and identify potential maintenance concerns
- Repair and replace motors, bearings, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other machine components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform equipment setup, alignment, and installation as needed
- Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate documentation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment
- Journeyman-level hydraulic certification/training preferred
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, systems maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment
