Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Role- Inspect produced product to ensure customers receive defect‑free items.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in‑process assemblies and finished products.
- Read and interpret work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
- Disposition product according to written procedures and work instructions.
- Final review of all paperwork and documentation.
- Maintain inventory location and status.
- Update documentation of records via Oracle, written documentation, and spreadsheets.
- Communicate with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, Leaders, and team members.
- Be trained across the entire product line and work with Quality and Engineering on new or emerging products.
- Follow all company guidelines and procedures.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform off‑line tasks as needed, including quality checks, downtime reporting, and housekeeping duties.
- Carry out other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization or as assigned by your leader.
- 3:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., Monday – Thursday
- 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Every other Friday
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Keen attention to detail and quality
- Strong math and computer skills
- Electronic and mechanical assembly experience, including the use of hand tools and soldering iron, ruler, caliper, and other related tools
- Excellent vision (not color blind or confused) and good hand‑eye coordination
- Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, and written documents
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent attendance record required
- Flexibility is a must as overtime may be required during the week and on weekends
- IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑WHMA‑620, and/or JSTD‑001 certifications considered significant assets
