Manufacturing Plant Meat Packing

Overview

Ebels General Store in Falmouth is currently looking for a full‑time energetic individual to work in our Little Town Jerky manufacturing area. This position is responsible for processing, packaging, and preparing meat products for distribution. This role involves working in a fast‑paced environment, following strict hygiene and safety protocols, and ensuring the quality of finished products. Ideal candidates will work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 35°F to 45°F, use protective gear including gloves, aprons, and hairnets, and stand for extended periods performing repetitive tasks.

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

• Operate and maintain equipment used for cutting and packaging meat products.
• Inspect product to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Package products according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Label and date products for inventory tracking.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of products.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend and stand as necessary.
• Must be able to work effectively in a refrigerated environment.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays based on production needs.
