Welders​/Fabricators

Location: Clare

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking skilled, motivated Welder/Fabricators to join a high-demand manufacturing team in Clare, MI. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies while maintaining precision, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, temperature-controlled facility producing high-quality steel and aluminum components used across multiple industries.
Shift & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (primary need)
• Additional shifts may become available
• Starting at $18/hour and up based on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication to exact design specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Set up and maintain welding equipment
• Inspect finished products and perform weld clean-up as needed
• Monitor quality and ensure consistency in all production
• Assist with material handling and general shop duties
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace following 5S/6S standards

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of welding/fabrication experience required (MIG preferred)
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and industry standards
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and work ethic
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a weld test, drug screen, background check, and physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable using tools such as grinders, torches, and plasma cutters
• Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
