Overview
Trillium Staffing is seeking a Quality Inspector / Auditor for a local company.
The Quality Auditor is responsible for inspecting materials, auditing production processes, product testing, and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities- Perform inspection on steel and packaging to verify compliance with specifications.
- Conduct readings and record results.
- Verify proper use of gauges and measuring equipment.
- Review operator inspection logs.
- Set length gauges and measuring equipment.
- Perform Rockwell hardness testing and other metallurgic tests.
- Inspect finishing goods.
- Maintain audit logs.
Pay rate is $17.00 - $17.50 an hour with an additional $1 per hour incentive pay for perfect attendance (weekly).
Schedule:
1st shift, 6 am - 2 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.
- Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with micrometer, calipers, ring gauges, profile meters, tape measures, hardness gauges, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with AS 400 or JD Edwards software a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Background check required.
