Our Integrity Fab and Machine location in Breckenridge, MI is looking for a CNC Machine Operator for 2nd shift (4:30pm-4:30am M-TH with a 7% shift premium).
CNC Machine Operator Position SummaryThe CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. This role ensures products are manufactured to exact specifications by interpreting blueprints, monitoring machine performance, and performing quality inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and machining centers
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Load raw materials and secure work pieces using fixtures, vises, or chucks
- Input or verify CNC programs and machine settings to meet job specifications
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain quality and production efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance with tolerances
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes
- Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues and report major problems to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance and time records
- Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of machining or manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Prior CNC machining or machine operator experience
- Technical or trade school training in machining or CNC
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi‑axis machines
- Familiarity with CNC programming (G‑code)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial materials
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Requires manual dexterity and stamina
- Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
- Full‑time position with day or evening shifts
- Overtime may be required to meet production demands
- Work is deadline‑driven with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
- Ability to pass pre‑employment background check and drug screening
