Location: South Haven
Technician
Starting Wage: $19.45/hr plus $2.00/hr shift premium for night shift.
This position involves the safe operation of machines and inspection of plastic horticultural containers and other plastics.
Recycling TechnicianWe are looking for dedicated, hardworking people to join our team. Our company is constantly growing, and we have opportunities for you to grow with us.
Responsibilities- Inspect and sort materials by plastic type.
- Remove contaminants (cardboard, metal, film) from sorting line.
- Load material onto conveyor belt.
- Monitor line for quality of material.
- Break down boxes and crates.
- Run Baler machine.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Must be able to bend, twist, climb, stand and lift items of up to 50 lb.
- Teamwork is a key value to the organization and working collaboratively with others is a must.
- Attention to detail.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to work a 12-hour 2/2/3 schedule.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
