Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Programmable Operator to join their team. As a Programmable Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Clare, MI

Pay Range: $20 - $21

Shift: 1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm 2nd shift - 4 pm to 12 am 3rd shift - 10 pm to 6 am (Sunday night start) overtime is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy including Saturdays

What's the Job?

• Inspect incoming materials for quality specifications and quantities.
• Operate and program robotic welders and CNC machines to fabricate products.
• Set up machines, adjust process variables, and verify accuracy using measuring devices.
• Maintain inventory control by labeling and tracking raw materials.
• Record labor, downtime, and other work order details accurately in the system.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. REQUIRED
• Minimum of two years of experience with machinery, CNC programming, or related fields. REQUIRED
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, AutoCAD, welding, and thermal cutting machinery is preferred.
• Ability to operate cranes and fork trucks, with licenses to be obtained if not already held.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
