Seeking a reliable Paint Line Operator to perform powder coating with a focus on quality, safety, and the ability to handle physical work.

Company started in 1943 and has been operating in Litchfield, MI since 1978. They design and fabricate stamping and laser cut products including stacking caps, racks, tube bending and laser cutting, and powder coating. This company is certified 100% veteran owned and ISO  certified.

Paint Line Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 18.25 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Third Shift (Monday through Friday)
• Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. (Will train on 1st shift
  - Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.
• Operate and monitor automated powder coating equipment, ensuring optimal application and finish quality.
• Efficiently load and unload parts and materials onto the paint line, adhering to production schedules and part specific handling procedures.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking as specified to ensure proper adhesion and finish.
• Perform visual and functional quality inspections on finished products to meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Execute minor assembly tasks and part preparation as required within the production line flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all housekeeping and safety protocols.

Paint Line Operator

Qualifications:

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
• Experience with paint application and/or previous paint line experience preferred.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Steel Toes required.
