The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Ludington that are seeking EDM Operators. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
- Load and unload work pieces from EDM machines.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of EDM machines.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring tools.
- Adjust machine parameters to optimize cutting performance and maintain specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues and process deviations.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
