The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Caledonia that are seeking skilled Setup Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and install manufacturing equipment and machinery according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production setups.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize equipment functionality.
• Document setup procedures, maintenance activities, and equipment modifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with various hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting
• IPC-7711/21 certification
• Familiarity with various manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Experience with vision systems or robotics

Salary Package:
