Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and motivated Welder to join our DML team. The ideal candidate will have experience with stainless steel TIG welding, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work up to 50 hours per week. Key Responsibilities- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate welding equipment and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Identify and differentiate between various types of structural steel.
- Collaborate with engineering and fellow welders to resolve issues and ensure quality.
- Accurately measure and prepare materials for welding.
- TIG welding (stainless steel preferred).
- Basic wire welding knowledge.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with welding machine setup and operation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Structural steel types and their applications.
- Measurement tools and fabrication processes.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Apply welding skills to fabricate high-quality components.
- Follow detailed instructions and engineering specifications.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Adapt to changing priorities and production needs.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
