Job Description

Workbox Staffing is seeking a Machine Operator for a location in either LeRoy, MI or Reed City, MI. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14–$16 per hour and all shifts are covered.

As a Machine Operator, you will be a vital part of our production team, responsible for installing, setting up, and operating machinery while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the production cycle.

• Set up machines and ensure they are running properly
• Load materials into machines and monitor production
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy throughout the shift
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product standards
• Maintain accurate logs of production output and machine efficiency

Success in this role requires a combination of education, experience, and technical aptitude:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment (helpful but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, manuals, and instructions
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills
• Mechanical skills: use tools for simple repairs and adjustments
• Blueprint reading: follow blueprints, schematics, and manuals accurately
• Troubleshooting: identify and resolve equipment or product issues quickly
