Position Summary
This position is responsible for routine and repetitive assembly of filters using a variety of fixtures and techniques. This position will advocate and actively participate in High Performance Teams (HPT) and support the Corporate Win Strategy.
Responsibilities- Ability to read a print, follow directions and standard work practices to assemble housing units for filter components.
- Use a variety of power and hand tools to tighten, lubricate, torque and fixate components of housing unit.
- Ability to perform basic electrical wiring on a filter cart and ability to operate a process oven.
- Ensure quality standards are being upheld by using different quality assurance equipment including handheld and mounted devices.
- Capable of pulling components for routers. Responsible for accurate product count matching customers' needs.
- Prepares necessary paperwork, reports, and prepares products for shipping by packing and labeling products based on customers' requirements. Ability to navigate on a computer is necessary.
- Must be able to perform and lift requirements in all areas of assembly.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work in a safe manner observing all company procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety.
- Certified to operate a forklift preferred or ability to be trained for certification on all powered equipment.
- Maintain professional, respectful, open communication with others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience of 1-2 years performing the essential functions as described in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of diagrams blueprint and drawing interpretation to ensure proper specifications are met, basic mathematical arithmetic, read and follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
- Skill using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and essential computer functions.
- Ability to work overtime during the week and on weekends as scheduled.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and exert force up to 50 lbs.
- Clean and Climate Controlled Facility
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation- Hourly pay range for this role is $18.82 - $27.86
- Third Shift Premium $1.00 per hour extra.
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
- Third Shift starts Sunday evening.
- 10:00 pm - 6:30 am (8-hour work schedule)
- 8:00 pm - 6:30 am (10-hour work schedule)
