You will be responsible for performing MIG welding, assisting with assembly and fabrication tasks, and supporting various construction‑related activities to ensure project success. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various metal racks
- Assist in fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, plasma cutting, and press brake operations to shape metal parts accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and quality standards
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials or equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures related to welding codes (such as ASME standards), construction site protocols, and equipment operation to maintain a safe work environment
- Skilled in MIG welding with knowledge of FCAW (Flux‑Cored Arc Welding)
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; adaptable to changing priorities
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
