Royal Technologies is a company that is passionate about training and development. We are looking for a hands‑on, mechanically minded individual who has a desire to jump in and learn our injection molding machines and processes. If hired, you’ll spend 9‑12 months working through a robust in‑house training program designed to develop you into a technical leader bring the eagerness to learn and we will equip you with the technical skills needed to help you grow into a supervisor role!
This position reports to the Production Manager and is supported by the bay (department) Injection Molding Supervisor.
This is a 2nd (4pm‑12am) position Monday‑Friday.
- Troubleshoot injection molding processes and equipment. Problem‑solve to develop corrective actions for customer issues and ideas for improvement.
- Climb in and out of injection molding equipment to perform mold and color changes.
- Prioritize production orders and oversee the production of quality products to meet customer standards and needs.
- Maintain the work area, equipment and molds to provide an organized workplace and proper tools.
- Ensure machine safety and follow all prescribed lock‑out procedures.
- Learn to schedule team machine assignments and break coverage to hit daily goals.
- Work alongside current Molding Supervisors, learning how to lead a small team (3‑6) in the execution of daily production tasks and continuous improvement.
- Practice writing and conducting employee performance evaluations.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking and performing repetitive tasks.
- Bending and stooping.
- Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task (dexterity).
- Hand‑eye coordination.
- All employees must wear approved safety glasses.
- Proven hands‑on technical experience (work or personal) is highly preferred (utility, maintenance, process tech, etc.).
- Experience with injection molding equipment is a plus.
- High school diploma/GED or 3‑5 years of solid manufacturing experience.
- Willing and able to work 45‑50 hours per week.
- Ability to train on 1st shift (8am‑4pm) for 3‑6 months.
- Prior leadership experience is greatly appreciated.
- No Sunday work.
