Job Title: General Labor – Fabrication Shop

Mitchell Equipment Corporation is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our assembly team. This position supports a variety of shop activities including parts painting, mechanical assembly, and cleaning machines in the machine shop. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic shop environment and willing to take on a range of tasks as needed.

Training provided.

• Operate basic machinery such as spray painting with spray guns, drill presses, band saws, and grinders.
• Assemble hydraulic hoses.
• Assemble hydraulic fittings on valves.
• Assist fabricators and machinists with general shop tasks.
• Load and unload materials using carts, dollies, or forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Previous experience in a fabrication or machine shop preferred, but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate shop tools.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fork lift operator certification.

• Indoor fabrication shop environment with steel, machinery, and power tools.
• Safety gear (PPE) provided and required.
