Job Description

Cooper Standard in East Tawas, MI is seeking full‑time Injection Mold Operators. Full‑time positions starting wage is $14.00 per hour plus shift premium.
Full time & part time positions offer a flexible “build your own” schedule.

Full‑time openings are on 1st shift 6:30 am ‑ 2:30 pm; 2nd shift 2:30 pm ‑ 10:30 pm ($14.75 hourly); 3rd shift 10:30 pm ‑ 6:30 am ($14.50 hourly). There is a potential for mandatory overtime. • Operate injection mold machines while efficiently producing a quality product in a safe manner.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Keep plant workplace neat and clean.
• Perform visual and gauge checks to ensure a quality product is produced/shipped.
• Follow operator work instructions.
• Stand for 8‑12 hours in steel‑toed shoes.
• Work well with others in a team environment.
• Be flexible with overtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A high school diploma or GED is desired; education equivalent options available.

Prior manufacturing experience is desirable but not required. Must pass all pre‑employment screenings, have good attendance, and a reliable means to get to work.

• Work environment and physical requirements are typical of a manufacturing floor.
• Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on the manufacturing floor.
• Occasional exposure to fumes/dust.
