Quality Manager

Overview

We are representing a globally recognized Industrial Manufacturing organization actively seeking a Quality Manager at their flagship operation. The company has been named a Top Places to Work based on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Plant Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

• Report to the Plant Manager while leading a department of 3 direct reports and maintaining a strong working relationship with the Director of Quality.
• Own the department's financial/budgetary responsibilities.
• Own the plant quality function while working cross-functionally with different departments.
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem-solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Work closely with plant staff to develop  HI-POT  talent.
• Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOPs, and lean manufacturing.

• Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration (preference for Engineering/technical field).
• Candidate should be a Plant/Operations-driven Quality Leader with a strong background in Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving.
• Candidate should have at least 2-3 years of Quality leadership experience within a highly regulated environment.
