Grind Operator

We are seeking a Grind Operator for 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating grinders, including running at least two grinders when needed, while producing quality parts efficiently and safely. The Grind Operator will make minor machine adjustments, follow quality procedures, inspect parts, complete production documentation, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Grind Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 16.40 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:00pm)

• Operate grinders and adjust machine settings as needed
• Inspect parts visually and with measuring devices to meet blueprint specifications
• Supply raw stock, move finished production, and transport parts to the next process
• Maintain coolant/water levels and follow cleanup procedures
• Complete paperwork and enter SPC/statistical data into company systems
• Follow Quality Management System procedures and work instructions
• Meet blueprint and production rate requirements
• Properly tag product and ensure accurate system entries
• Follow operator, setup, quality, inspection, maintenance, and layout instructions

Grind Operator

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of blueprints, gaging, and job-specific equipment
• High school-level education or equivalent
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Slip resistant Safety shoes required.
• Comfortable lifting 40 pounds repetitively and 75 pounds occasionally.

• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
