This position supports the Purchasing and Planning Department and serves as a backup to the Traffic Clerk position.

The ideal candidate will
possess the following qualifications:

• Inventory principles and concepts
• Moderate to strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Communication skills – listening and team building
• Strong customer focus with ability to effectively interact primarily with internal customers
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Problem solving/analysis
• Purchasing principles and concepts
• Knowledge of products
• Business system software
• Office system software – word processing, spreadsheets

Performance Measures:

• Inventory turns/cost
• Inventory carrying costs
• Customer On-Time Delivery
• Accuracy/quality
• Timeliness

Experience/

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level, however related experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of Epicor business system is a plus ?
