Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking CNC Lathe Programmers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs for Lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining processes.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and work holding devices.
- Simulate and verify CNC programs to detect and correct errors.
- Optimize cutting parameters and tool paths for efficiency and surface finish.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and improve programs.
- Document setup sheets, tooling lists, and inspection criteria.
- Maintain and update a library of CNC programs and related documentation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming for CNC lathes.
- Demonstrated experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Esprit, GibbsCAM).
- Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, and work holding for lathe operations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Knowledge of various metals and their machinability characteristics.
- Experience with part inspection and use of precision measuring tools.
