Job Description Looking to hire CNC Machinists for Swiss-Style Lathes!
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce precision components.
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, setup, and production issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and GD&T requirements.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Verify parts meet dimensional, tolerance, and quality specifications.
- Complete routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical concerns.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized production areas.
- Collaborate with operators, programmers, quality personnel, and leadership to improve production performance.
- At least five years of CNC machine operation experience.
- Experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machinery.
- Gantry-style, Swiss-style, or mill-turn lathe experience is preferred.
- Murata or Star CNC machine experience is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of high-speed machining and production procedures.
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable work ethic with the ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn, receive coaching, and take initiative.
