ResourceMFG is now hiring PROCESS TECHNICIANS near Auburn Hills, MI (Orion Twp)!
JOB TITLE:Process Technician (contract-to-hire)
PAY RATE:$24.00 – $28.00/hr
SHIFTS:- 2:00pm – 10:0pm
Mon-Fri + two Saturdays on, and then one Saturday off.
DESCRIPTION:This role is for a plastic manufacturing company. They produce plastic for various industries, including automotive, medical, etc.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:- Coordinate and perform mold setups, changeovers, machine start-ups, lockouts, and safe shutdowns.
- Troubleshoot and fine-tune complex injection molding parameters and auxiliary equipment using a variety of engineered and commodity resins.
- Monitor cycle times, part weights, and product dimensions; perform first-piece approvals and ongoing random quality audits.
- Partner with shift supervisors, tooling, maintenance, and quality control teams to resolve floor issues and reduce scrap
- General maintenance and upkeep of the facility (sweeping, etc).
