- Prepare totes for processing by removing covers and opening bags prior to loading tank
- Repair and or reject totes or other materials not meeting specifications
- Inspect, clean, and sanitize totes and materials for conformance to specifications
- Prepare totes for finished product by lining with bags
- Weigh tote containers to verify ingredient quantities
- Notify supervisor of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems
- Fill out necessary paperwork
- Plant clean-up
- Hand palletize (stack) finished goods onto pallet
- Operate sizer
- Sort and package product, poke stems, cut stems and other tasks on moving lines/belts.
- Other tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and clear communication skills.
Exposure to wet/humid conditions and extreme heat/cold. Some high noise levels and moving mechanical parts. Exposure to brine, bleach, and cleaning chemicals.
Must wear proper PPE such as bump cap, eye and ear protection, gloves, respirator to ensure your safety as well as protecting the quality of our products.
Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with team members across departments.
