CNC Machinist, Manufacturing Engineer

- Program and set up 3- and 5-axis CNC machines using Tebis CAM software
- Operate machines independently, making tool offsets and program edits as needed
- Interpret complex CAD models, blueprints, and technical drawings, including GD&T
- Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Maintains specifications by observing machining operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, and troubleshooting processes
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize programs, fixturing, and cycle times
- Maintain tooling inventory and perform basic tool modifications and adjustments
- Mentor and train apprentice operators on machine setup and programming best practices
- 2–5 years of CNC machining and programming experience, including 5-axis work
- Proficient in Tebis CAD/CAM or equivalent programming software (Mastercam, Work NC, NX, Esprit, etc.)
- Strong understanding of machining parameters, feeds/speeds, and aerospace-grade materials
- Experience with Heidenhain controls (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
- Skilled at identifying, diagnosing, and correcting quality and dimensional issues
