Location: Spring Lake

Supreme Machined Products, a precision machine shop serving aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial customers, is seeking an Experienced CNC Machinist. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce complex, close-tolerance parts. You'll read blueprints and GD&T, select tooling, make offsets, and verify quality using precision measuring tools. You will train on first shift, then move to 2nd shift, working with modern equipment in a clean, safety-focused, team-oriented environment that values craftsmanship, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision components to print
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T requirements
  • Select and install tooling, make offsets, and adjust programs for quality and efficiency
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic preventive maintenance
  • Follow quality procedures and document production and inspection results
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and leads to improve processes
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Support continuous improvement, 5
  • S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Train on first shift, then transition and work independently on 2nd shift
