Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$20.00 – $23.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift available

What’s a typical day as Set-Up Technician? You’ll be:
- Performing start-ups and changeovers of production runs using efficient methods to minimize scrap and downtime
- Setting up and operating Single, Dual, and Tri Extrusion production lines
- Completing multiple tooling changes during an 8-hour shift
- Installing, adjusting, and troubleshooting various die types, including Streamline, Flat Back, and Button dies
- Setting up and operating sizing systems such as Profile Plates in Water Tanks, Vacuum Calibration Systems, and Air Racks with Plates
- Setting up and monitoring in-line lamination systems (PSA and HATS)
- Operating and adjusting in-line cutting equipment, including Fly Knife Cutters, Puller/Cutter Combos, Saws, Guillotine Cutters, and Rotary Cutters
- Performing in-line punching, laser marking, and inkjet printing operations
- Responding promptly to Andon board requests to support production and minimize downtime
- Assisting with troubleshooting and training to ensure team members are meeting customer needs
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe work area following 6S standards
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other support teams
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
- Possess previous manufacturing experience (extrusion setup experience preferred)
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment
- Can read and follow work instructions, production documents, and specifications
- Are comfortable using basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of internal software systems
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management
- Are able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment
