Description

Press Operator – Build It Right. Own the Process. Grow Your Career.

At Robroy Enclosures, our Press Operators don’t just run machines—they take ownership of turning raw materials into high-quality electrical enclosures that protect critical infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll set up and operate power presses to mold sheet‑molding compound (SMC), ensuring every part meets our safety, quality, and production standards in an ISO‑driven environment.

What you’ll own:
  • Set up dies, fixtures, and machine settings to run production efficiently
  • Measure and prepare materials to spec before each run
  • Inspect, deburr, drill, and finish parts to print requirements
  • Make real‑time adjustments to maintain quality and reduce defects
  • Track production and inventory with accuracy and accountability
  • Identify and address non‑conforming products the right way
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all ISO and safety standards
What sets you apart:
  • You pay attention to detail and take pride in quality work
  • You show up reliable, ready to work, and accountable to your team
  • You follow processes—but also think ahead to improve them
  • You prioritize safety every time, no shortcuts
What you can expect:
  • A hands‑on role where your work directly impacts production
  • Clear expectations around performance, quality, and accountability
  • A team environment that values consistency, ownership, and development

Work environment: You’ll be working around machinery, moving equipment, and moderate noise (hearing protection REQUIRED
). It’s a fast‑paced manufacturing floor where focus and safety matter.

Qualifications
  • Performing quality inspections, deburring, drilling, or finishing parts to print
  • Working with tooling, dies, fixtures, or machine changeovers
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments (assembly, fabrication, plastics, or metal)
  • Operating or setting up power presses, injection molding, compression molding, or CNC machines
