Welder​/Fabricator - 1st shift Belding, MI

Job Description

Ambient Recruiting has partnered with a client in Belding who is seeking experienced welder/fabricators to add to their team. Fabricators work with our engineering team to build industrial machinery. Fabricators must have industry experience and be able to read and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG/TIG welding and general welding duties according to job specifications and quality standards
• Perform general metal fabrication, including cutting, fitting, grinding, and assembly of components.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Properly identify and select raw materials specified on work orders for each job.
• Work closely and communicate effectively with management, sales, engineering, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality, dimensional, and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety procedures and proper use and care of welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Assist with other fabrication and production tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• 5 years of industry experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to use basic tools
• Good team skills
