Manufacturing Laborer

GFL Environmental is hiring a Manufacturing Laborer to support our environmental services operations. In this hands-on role, you will load, unload, and move materials, operate basic production and handling equipment, and assist with processing, sorting, and preparing waste and recyclable materials. You'll follow strict safety and environmental procedures, use PPE, and keep work areas clean and organized. Working in a fast-paced, team-based setting, you'll support efficient production flow while helping communities manage waste sustainably and building skills for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move raw materials, containers, and finished products in manufacturing areas
• Operate basic production and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with processing, sorting, and preparing waste and recyclable materials
• Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental compliance procedures and policies
• Perform basic quality checks and report issues or equipment concerns to supervisors
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support housekeeping standards
• Read and follow work orders, labels, and standard operating procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
