Maintenance Tech and Mill Operator - Nights

Second Shift: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Weekdays).

Primary duties: manufacture livestock feed and complete all related paperwork. Additional duties include loading/unloading trucks, customer service, grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse maintenance, forklift operation, grain handling, and other feed production responsibilities.

• Work independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understand feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

• Computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Understanding of safe working conditions and operations of vehicles.
• Willingness and ability to work well with others, to take and give constructive criticism, and to lend a helping hand.
• Analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
• Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.
• Driven, organized, and punctual.
• Team oriented.
• Great attention to detail.

• High School Diploma.
• Agriculture background a plus.
