Maintenance Mechanic:

Performing a wide array of maintenance throughout a printing and packaging facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting Equipment Issues. Diagnose and identify problems with plant equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions, whether mechanical, electrical, or software-related, and implement corrective actions.
Carry out repairs on malfunctioning or damaged equipment to ensure minimal downtime, using the appropriate tools and techniques to restore functionality.
Execute regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance, longevity, and compliance with safety standards.
Assist with other facility-related tasks as assigned, including maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, monitoring spare parts inventory, and ensuring the plant environment remains safe and operational.

Required Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment maintenance.
High mechanical aptitude.
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Proficient with a wide range of hand and power tools.
Experience with printing equipment such as Bobst, Manroland, Heidelberg, KBA, and/or Komori Press is a plus
