Role Description

The CNC Swiss Programmer/Operator independently programs, sets up, and operates CNC Swiss-style multi-axis lathes to produce precision-machined components for UTP Solutions' medical device, defense, and aerospace programs. This is a senior, immediate-need hire — the person in this role is expected to run production with no ramp-up period, working directly at the machine control from blueprint to first-article-approved part.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role focuses on achieving production and quality targets on a 1st shift schedule while adhering to UTP Solutions' high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. The CNC Swiss Programmer/Operator closely collaborates with the Plant Manager, Tooling, and Quality teams to ensure efficient production processes, and is expected to mentor other machinists as UTP's Swiss/CNC program grows.
