Assembly Technician

We design and manufacture steel and polyurethane forming equipment used by precast concrete manufacturers around the world.

We’re looking for an Assembly Technician who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in building things well, and wants to be part of a dependable, collaborative team. Whether you bring previous manufacturing experience or are ready to learn a skilled trade, we’ll give you the training, tools, and support needed to succeed.

As an Assembly Technician, you’ll help build the equipment, components, and molds our manufacturing partners rely on. Our typical production schedule is Monday through Thursday, with four 10-hour shifts. Some Friday work may be needed, and additional overtime may be available for employees who want it.

Your responsibilities will include and may not be limited to -

• Assembling product components and forming equipment according to specifications, drawings, work orders, and bills of materials
• Using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively
• Operating cranes and forklifts once properly trained and authorized
• Inspecting completed assemblies and subassemblies for proper fit, finish, tolerances, and overall quality
• Working closely with teammates, production leaders, and other departments to solve problems and keep work moving
• Identifying and promptly reporting equipment issues, defects, or production disruptions
• Participating in corrective actions and continuous-improvement efforts
• Packaging, staging, and palletizing completed products for shipment or the next step in production
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Assisting in other areas of production as team and business needs change

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• Take pride in quality workmanship and pays attention to detail
• Enjoy hands-on work and learning new skills
• Can read and follow detailed instructions; experience reading drawings or prints is helpful
• Have good manual dexterity and is comfortable using hand and power tools
• Can stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 80 pounds
• Some previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience. It’s helpful, and not required
