to work within the die cast department to efficiently and effectively set-up and operate equipment within a die cast cell to ensure a quality product is produced and delivered that consistently satisfies or exceeds our customer's expectation.

• every employee has the responsibility to comply with all safety rules, quality procedures and processes established by mpa
• independently troubleshoot equipment or quality problems produced by the machine
• assist maintenance, tool room and engineering personnel in the repair and continuous improvement activities
• meet customer production schedules
• achieve and maintain uptime targets
• achieve and maintain acceptable scrap levels

• must have completed step-up/new operator training check list including attendance & quality targets
• must have regular and punctual attendance
• must be able to follow directions of a supervisor
• must be cooperative with other employees
• must be quality conscious with an emphasis on operating to the work instruction
• be familiar with hydraulics and pneumatics or willingness to learn.
• be familiar with the operations of the programmable logic controllers (plc) or willing to learn.
• ability to communicate in english both orally and in writing, effectively
• ability to work independently or in a team environment
• ability to communicate, educate and coach new team members
• fluent in english
