Box and Bag Tech

Location: Frankfort

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Box and Bag Tech to join their team. As a Box and Bag Tech, you will be part of the Packaging department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $17.50/hr and +$2/hr for night shift when available

** Shift:
** 7:00am-7:00pm OR 7:00pm-7:00am // 2 day on, 2 day off schedule with rotating weekends

** What's the Job?*
* + Work in various areas of the pack line, ensuring efficient and accurate packing of products for shipment.

+ Package products to support maximum operational efficiency in the packaging area.

+ Read and interpret codes, labels, and temperature gauges to maintain quality standards.

+ Maintain supply levels for tape rolls, materials, and tools to ensure smooth workflow.

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, adhering to safety protocols and standards.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.

+ Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds. Physical ability to see/differentiate all primary colors. Must be able to use ladders, working on elevated platforms and working at different elevations.

+ Willingness to operate or learn to operate a forklift.

+ Flexibility to work varying days and hours, including holidays and weekends as needed.
