About The Role

Working under the direction of the administrator and in accordance with the established procedures and policies, the Communications Specialist will provide marketing and communication expertise to Ingham Intermediate School District and contracted local district and regional education service agency programs and services as assigned.

• Work with Ingham ISD and/or contracted district(s) staff and administration to assist with the development and implementation of comprehensive and effective marketing plans based on research, data and constituent needs.
• Develop, compose, revise and distribute marketing materials to promote programs and services.
• Prepare and offer high quality presentations and coordinate marketing related events which effectively promote programs and services.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in business, English, journalism, communication, marketing or public relations.
• Three to five years of recent and relevant successful experience in applying best practices to develop effective marketing strategies, implement marketing campaigns and measure the results is required.
• Recent and relevant experience in program or service development through marketing activities to include the use of web content including social on-line communication tools and the coordination of these media with other marketing tools.
