Location: Pearline

The Central Region Area Marketing Manager reports to the Central Region Marketing Manager and will support company growth by producing high‑quality proposals and qualification packages, supporting business development efforts, and identifying opportunities while applying deep industry marketing knowledge. The candidate will be detail‑oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple deadline‑driven opportunities, and knowledgeable about the local market.

We seek a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented individual who anticipates issues, thrives on creative problem solving, and proactively identifies opportunities while building industry relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead opportunities through the entire sales cycle: lead identification, capture planning, proposal development, and interview support.
  • Lead proposal development: understand RFP requirements, create and manage task lists, prepare documents, edit covers and graphics, and QA/QC all work products.
  • Prepare interview materials: develop PowerPoint presentations, train teams, lead mock panels, and support live interviews.
  • Respond to RFPs, SOQs, RFIs, and MSAs while ensuring proposal quality, compliance, consistency, and on‑time delivery.
  • Support key growth initiatives and account plans for sellers and regional leaders.
  • Maintain marketing collateral: project sheets, resumes, award submittals, brochures, templates, and interview content.
  • Assist in planning and executing company marketing events, conferences, seminars, and outreach events, including occasional travel.
  • Engage with marketing professional societies to promote networking and client relations.
  • Build collaborative relationships with senior sellers and maintain marketing database information, generating reports.
  • Conduct market intelligence research and reporting.
  • Manage multiple concurrent marketing efforts, scheduling workload and priorities accordingly.
  • Occasional travel to other offices is anticipated.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Journalism (preferred).
  • 6–10 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry.
  • Experience in marketing, lead/client generation, and proposal response efforts.
  • Strong written communication, organization, and document layout skills.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe InDesign; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and CRM systems.
  • Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
