The Digital Media & Marketing Coordinator leads the district's communications, marketing, and digital storytelling efforts by creating engaging multimedia content that highlights student achievement, staff excellence, and district initiatives. This role strengthens the district's brand and community engagement through strategic messaging, content creation, and digital marketing across multiple platforms while promoting a positive and unified image of Lincoln Consolidated Schools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Consistently promotes fairness, respect, and multiple perspectives in all responsibilities
- Capture and edit photos and videos of school events, classroom activities, and student achievements.
- Create engaging digital content for district newsletters, website updates, and promotional materials.
- Design graphics for digital and print communications using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Assist in developing video concepts, scripts, and coordinating interviews for district storytelling and promotional efforts.
- Coordinate district marketing and advertising in collaboration with the Director of Communications.
- Attend district and community events to support real-time content creation and coverage.
- Plan, organize, and execute multi-channel communication strategies to promote district programs, enrollment, and initiatives.
- Manage and update website content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of messaging.
- Create, schedule, and monitor district social media content.
- Develop written materials and marketing assets aligned with district branding guidelines.
- Design and edit communications including newsletters, advertisements, presentations, and digital campaigns.
- Support photography, storytelling, and promotional efforts across district programs and schools.
- Maintain communication calendars and assist in coordinating timely district messaging.
- Support district events such as enrollment nights, open houses, and community showcases.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support district communication and marketing efforts as allowable by grant funding source(s).

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
- Foundational photography and videography skills; experience with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Cap Cut preferred.
- Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
SKILLS:
- Excellent writing skills with sound foundation in English grammar such as punctuation, syntax, spelling and proofreading.
SKILLS:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Ability to work across Windows and Mac operating systems.
SKILLS:
- Ability to apply the concepts of basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in variable situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
