The Salvation Army (Central) - - Responsibilities:
Stock pantry by unloading, sorting, and storing food orders from donations and storage areas;
Maintain proper inventory levels and records of pantry items;
Follow food safety guidelines and monitor shelf life; repack and dispose of outdated items; record refrigerator and freezer temperatures;
Provide food pantry recipients with food orders meeting household size and dietary needs;
Assist recipients with bringing food items to vehicles and support pantry volunteers as needed
