The Alumni Engagement, Annual Fund & Career Pathway Coordinator is responsible for coordinating alumni engagement initiatives, annual fund operations, and grant-funded Career Pathway programming. The position develops meaningful alumni relationships, supports annual giving, plans and executes events, manages engagement communications, and coordinates career readiness initiatives for students. The role works collaboratively with Advancement, Academic Affairs, Student Engagement, faculty, employers, alumni, and campus partners to strengthen philanthropy, student success, career outcomes, retention, and graduation.

The Career Pathway responsibilities described below are funded through the (KCP-4S) grant. These duties are supplemental to the employee's core Alumni Engagement and Annual Fund responsibilities. If the grant is discontinued or funding expires, only the grant-funded Career Pathway duties will be removed. Continuation of employment in the Alumni Engagement & Annual Fund Coordinator role is not contingent upon continuation of the grant and remains subject to University policies and institutional needs.

  • Coordinate and execute annual fund campaigns across print and digital channels, including segmentation, data preparation, mail production, performance tracking, donation pages, and reporting.
  • Execute alumni engagement campaigns and maintain constituent engagement records in Raiser's Edge.
  • Coordinate alumni events including Homecoming, regional events, pop-up events, registrations, vendors, budgets, communications, evaluations, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop monthly alumni e-newsletters, social media content, and engagement communications.
  • Coordinate Comet2

    Comet mentoring initiatives and alumni volunteer engagement.
  • Process gift deposits, first-time donor stewardship, returned mail, surveys, and departmental reporting.
  • Represent the University at alumni events and collaborate with campus partners to advance engagement and fundraising goals.
