General Medicine NP Near Frederic, MI We are actively seeking dedicated General Medicine Nurse Practitioners (NPs) for a locum tenens role near Frederic, MI. This is an ASAP - Ongoing opportunity, offering flexibility and the chance to make a significant impact in the field of Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Key Responsibilities:

Coverage Options:
Travel to perform exams at a leased facility or schedule Veterans within your own practice. Flexibility to work either ?? days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours). Exams and Assessments:
Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments. Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment required. Administrative Details:
Quick credentialing and onboarding process. DMA certification is available (can earn CME credits) and must be obtained once privileged if not already certified. Use of Goniometer required. Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions is essential. Proficiency in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Must have a personal laptop (no Macs). Reporting Requirements:
Training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion; no narrative report required. End product is the completion of standardized forms. Evaluations to be completed in the provider portal. Record review is required in most cases. Regular follow-up administrative work including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics. Certification and Licensing:
