Bright Star Care is looking for several Registered Nurses in the downriver area to look after a high acuity patient who needs 24/7 nursing care. There will also be a home health aide assigned to this client as well (a two person team).

Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advicePerform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ chartsAdjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s ordersProvide instant medical care in emergenciesFoster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their familiesRequirements:
Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of MichiganPhysical within the past six (6) monthsCertified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-rayMinimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility preferred.Possess exceptional nursing assessment skillsLicensed driver with proof of automobile insuranceAbility to work on weekends, nights, and holidaysReliable transportationMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
