Location: Chelsea, MI

Pay: $ per hour based upon licensed nursing experience + applicable shift premiums (when working afternoons, overnights and weekends)

Nurses in the Pre-op and PACU department care for patients before and after their surgical procedure. In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery. The Registered Nurse provides quality patient-centered care considering age-specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process.

They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serve as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Shift Available: Day Shift

Status Available: Contingent, not benefit eligible

No on‑call requirement

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• ICU and/or Prep/PACU experience preferred
• ACLS, PALS preferred
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
• Canadian Nurses are encouraged to apply
