The Orchards at Douglas Cove, located in Douglas, MI, is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
  • Help Residents with personal hygiene
  • Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
  • Document Resident food and fluid intake
  • Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
  • Make the Resident's beds and keep their living areas clean and tidy
  • Transport Residents within the facility
  • Assist nurses and other staff as needed
  • Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
  • Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current and valid CNA certification
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
  • Keen attention to detail
  • In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
  • Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for several medical conditions
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • First aid and CPR certifications
