Position:
Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) – Full time, 40 hours per week – Bronson Women’s Service, South Haven, MI.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, including history, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
  • Record findings in the electronic health record and provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatment, and care.
  • Perform phone triage to determine urgency and guide appropriate care.
  • Assist physicians with minor and emergency procedures, examinations, and treatment administration.
  • Prepare patients for laboratory tests, imaging, and other procedures, schedule required tests, and document results.
  • Coordinate admissions, referrals, and prescription requests under provider direction.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality monitoring activities; use data to improve nursing practice.
  • Attend staff, educational, and other meetings as required.
  • Maintain professional competency records and engage in continuing education.
  • Keep examination rooms stocked and supplies organized.
Qualifications
  • Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • 6‑12 months of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State of Michigan.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication; ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Independently focused and function as a team member with other healthcare professionals.
  • Proficient computer skills; can interpret and analyze data from various systems.
Physical & Other Requirements
  • Perform tasks requiring up to 50 pounds of lifting or moderate handling; may assist with heavier loads as needed.
  • Primary work involves use of a personal computer for 40–70% of the shift, requiring sustained attention.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Sign‑On Bonus up to $5,000.00 for external candidates.
  • Retention Bonus of $5,000.00 for external candidates.
  • Full‑time schedule (40 hours per week).
